  • You know how when you are on the Google home page there's that little G on the left hand side of your tab?

That fancy little thing is called a Favicon and I love using it as a cute way to make your site more memorable by using an icon that relates to your business.

The favicon serves as your websiteโ€™s icon, or a visual mark with which to identify your website around the web.

If you're like *gasp*! When I go to my website there's nothing up there it's blank or maybe just the Squarespace logo (that one drives me the most crazy), it's all good! You can quickly make one yourself!

Go to Canva and create your own design with the dimensions of 16x16pixels.

Sometimes they can be bigger up to 32x32 pixels.

You want to create your little icon and download it as a PNG with a transparent background.

  • What on earth is a ๐Ÿ’ฆSPLASH๐Ÿ’ฆ page and how you could use one:

First things first, it's not your home page and it's not a landing page.

A landing page is a simple one-page website to serve one purpose, and one purpose only: generate leads, gather subscribers, bring more customers, etc, usually brought there from an ad.

Think of it as more like a beautiful Welcome screen!

Not every website needs one but it does give a little something different!

Here are some ways to use a splash page๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป: ๐ŸEntice your viewers with something new/something you want featured. ๐ŸPromote an upcoming launch or event. ๐ŸShow a disclaimer. ๐ŸA Choose Your Journey Option (especially helpful if you've got two different businesses!) ๐ŸAllow people to choose a region/country or language.

  • 3๏ธโƒฃย Reasons Your Why Website Isnโ€™t Converting Visitors into Clients

Your website should be your best employee - it should be working FOR you, helping you not only attract your dream clients, but convert them into people who are ready to hand you their credit card to work with you.

So if this is not happening - here are 3 reasons why and how you can fix it! โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € 1. Your website isnโ€™t capturing your audience's attention & captivating them.

I hate to tell you this but people do judge books by covers and websites by home pages. It not only needs great content but it needs to be visually appealing too. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € You can't have one without the other - because if its pretty but the content is terrible, confusing, boring, etc. people will leave. And no matter how amazing your content is if your website looks likeย ๐Ÿ’ฉ noone is going to read it or remember it. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Solution: Quit the DIY amateur stuff. If your imagery and photos are terrible - hire a brand photographer and have a photoshoot! If your website or design makes you hide in shame, hire it out so you are actually proud of your little home on the internet.

2. Your messaging isnโ€™t CLEAR. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Your messaging needs to be clear + intentional. 
It should be answering 3๏ธโƒฃ main points:

What you do ๐Ÿ”ธWho you help ๐Ÿ”ธ How you help them
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
Solution: Speak directly to your ideal client, their pains, fears, desires and the transformation they want.

Your copy on your website should take them through a customer journey that shows how you can help them.  3. Noone is opting for your opt-in/freebie

Think about sales like dating - a lot of times people aren't ready to get married upon first sight but that might just mean not right now.

You need to court them a little๐Ÿฅฐ. They're allowing you in their inbox (think coffee or a first date) and if you provide them with tons of value there, they will remember you and be more likely to buy because you've warmed them up.

Solution: Survey your audience and find out what they really want! Create an opt-in around this and build your relationship in their inbox!

  • Refuse to be a watered-down ๐Ÿ’ง version of yourself just to make those around you feel comfortable.

I know because I've been there. I've had people laugh when I ask them to take an Instagram photo, scoff at my business goals and wealth goals (p.s. I'm talking like my own Private Jet goalsโœˆ๏ธ anybody else?!), I've had people tell me I don't know anything, ask "how's that internet thing going?" and then not pay any attention to the answer, the list goes on and I'm sure if you've ever ventured towards big goals you may have encountered something similar. If I wasn't so stubborn or strong in who I am I might believe them too. Buuut I'm here ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ˜Š. Surround yourself with people who support you, people who are growing, people who will push you and challenge you but in a good way. Even if it's not in your physical location - choose to fill your Instagram feed with people who will inspire, motivate and help you grow. If they're not either on their way to where you want to be or already there, then don't ask them for their advice.

Because those people - they haven't done what you want to do so they're in no place to say. They might not be growing - maybe they're doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Maybe their mindset is so limited for THEIR dreams that they do this horrible thing and put their limitations and beliefs on you.

PLUS just an FYI not being your true self is way more exhausting than letting your true light shine #justsayin ๐Ÿ’. We only have a limited time on this earth so don't be a sloppy second version of yourself - be who YOU truly want to become.
